Germany, Heer. A Krim Shield, by Wilhelm Deumer Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic once in black ink(Heer Krimschild). Constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse consisting of a shield bearing a raised map of Crimea and southern Ukraine, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by dates 1941 1942, affixed with all four reverse attachment prongs to a non magnetic metal backplate with a field grey wool liner indicating Heer issue, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of manufacture by Wilhelm Deumer,
